Uses of C7BzO:

Zwitterionic detergent, it can be used for protein extraction, 2D electrophoresis as a tool for separating proteins in complex samples.
According to Sigma-Aldrich research results, its extraction capacity is 23% higher than CHAPS.
Due to high solubilization, the protein load of electrophoresis gel is 20% higher than CHAPS, and it does not affect the resolution.
It is possible to replace Triton X-100 in lysis buffer.
