Hopax has just finished the expansion of its manufacturing facilities for biological buffers in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The expansion included the addition of new dedicated manufacturing lines for buffers of high demand, such as HEPES, MOPS and Bis-Tris. These lines received new reactors and dryers that will speed up the production and consequently reduce the lead time for Hopax’s pharmaceutical and life sciences customers in Europe, America and Asia.

This move is a logical step in order to meet the growing global demand for these chemicals – as experienced in 2018 – and to maintain Hopax’s position among the world’s largest manufacturers of biological buffers.

Kaohsiung factory expansion will also allow Hopax to maintain larger quantities of buffers available in stock, and therefore improve our capability to develop partnerships with new customers.
