Hopax is a manufacturer and supplier of Sulfobetaine-10 (SB-10) - (CAS 15163-36-7), a zwitterionic detergent member of the sulfobetaine family.
Sulfobetaine-10 is often used for:
- Separation, solubilization and purification of outer membrane proteins
- 2D electrophoresis - at the concentration of 2% (w/v)
- Cosmetics, as reducing agents for permanents, conditioning and hair washing compositions
- Development of contact lens solutions
Additional information:
- Sulfobetaine-10 is soluble in water (~100mg/ml).
