Hopax ist ein Hersteller und Lieferant von BIS-TRIS (CAS 6976-37-0), einem zwitterionischen biologischen Puffer, der häufig als Puffermittel in der biologischen und biochemischen Forschung verwendet wird.


Anwendungen des BIS-TRIS Puffers:

  • BIS-TRIS ist ein beliebter Gel-, Proben- und Laufpuffer für verschiedene Arten der Elektrophorese. Zum Beispiel wurde es zusammen mit ACES Puffer als Laufpuffer für die Gelelektrophorese (BIS-TRIS/ACES) verwendet.
  • Sein Einsatz wurde auch in der Anionenaustausch-Chromatographie, NMR-Spektroskopie und Röntgenkristallographie berichtet.
  • Dieser Good's Puffer gilt als hervorragender Ersatz für den hochgiftigen Puffer Cacodylat.


Besonderheiten:

  • Er ist nicht für die Verwendung mit dem Bicinchoninsäure (BCA) Assay geeignet.
  • Er interagiert mit menschlichem Leber-Fettsäure-Bindungsprotein (FAB) und beeinflusst die Dynamik von Proteinen.
